UPDATE ON THE 6 BABY CALVES! A HAPPY ENDING! WATCH THE VIDEO

Cattle are sensitive, gentle animals who form close bonds with each other and their caregivers. With good food, safe shelter, lots of pasture, hay and sunshine, and loving care, many cattle can live in excess of 20 years! Every month, our cattle have individual health checks, where we clean their ears, examine their eyes, check and trim their hooves, feel their whole bodies for lumps and bumps, and brush their coats. We also vaccinate them bi-annually and have them on a quarterly fecal exam and de-worming program. See our happy Farm Sanctuary residents living as all cattle should!
